In the majority of photos I took of my subject were of her jumping and running around the courtyard. In some pictures she was jumping off stairs or of her jumping against the brick wall to get a "free-running" feel in my picture. The center photo in the top row was taken with a slow shutter speed, that is why the photo has a blurry quality. I also used auto lighting on the camera. I composed the shot by having the subject pretend to be a cheerleader and jump in various positions. The bottom row of photos was taken with a faster shutter , that is why these photos do not have as much blur, as the other slower shutter speed photos. In the third image in the top row, by panning the camera, it made it look as if the background was moving, instead of the subject.
