Experimenting with Logos: Videogame
After experimenting with tools like pathfinder, bloat, pucker, and other shape tools as a class we began to develop our own logos for a topic. I decided to do video games. When I brainstormed about video games I thought of controllers, buttons, wires, and bright colors. I then decided that I want to play with the idea with of the video game controller and the wire. Originally I sketched the wire going around the controller in a circle, but then I decided to make it a person, since video games have such a control on people. The game controller then becomes the brain of the person which adds to the logo. To make this logo I used tools like Pathfinder to make shapes, like the video game controller. I added a gradient to give the controller a 3-D effect and make the shape look rounder. I also used the pen tool to trace the person's profile. The outer glow effected added a nice effect to the profile line. The framing circle was made with the ellipse tool, and adding a pen stroke to it. I used the light blue circle, too add in a symbol of the motion and lights seen in video games.

Stop Motion with Paper: The Faults in Our
Our next stop motion of this year was to make a a film using white board animations and paper. i decided to animate a picture that was created to represent a book I read. I made a storyboard of the book and printed out pieces that i could use in my animation. Using white board and paper i created a book trailer in stop motion for this book, I then put the movie into movie maker to edit it more smoothly. I like hwo i combined techniques to make a cool animation for my favorite book.
Wellness Logo
I created this logo for the wellness department. After talking to the wellness director, we decided that major themes to incorporate in the logo were nutrition, activity, and relationships. After several sketches and ideas I decided the best way to incorporate all these themes would be to have a food pyramid with people running up it. The people symbolize physical activity and human relationships. While the pyramid and plate represent food and nutrition. I brought the logo to life by using illustrator and tools like the pen tool, shapes, and type tool. I am quite satisfied with this final product.
Production Logo
This is my animation logo that will be seen before all of my videos. I used my love for Corbin Bleu to inspire my animation. I made my animation by taking pictures of my hand slowly writing the logo, of Corbin's hair growing into the production title. I decided to keep my hand in the logo to show how I am the creator of the animation. This logo was just a basic introduction to whiteboard animation

This animation was made by creating two faces for a critter and then printing out faces that could change in between the two critter faces. I printed out the face pieces and then cut them out, through out the animation I slowly change the pieces to show how the critter changes emotionally. This animation introduced using paper in stop motion, which was a different technique. I then used movie maker to further edit my video and to make it smoother and more interesting.
